We Built Austin Out of LEGO® at SXSWedu

During SXSWedu, we help create a LEGO version of the City of Austin with the help of teachers, school administrators, and students.

We started with one building and watch the evolution throughout the event.

PRESS ADVISORY: Building The City of Anthem out of 40,000 LEGO® Pieces

On Saturday March 10th, 2018, Play-Well TEKnologies is offering a free and kid friendly, city of Anthem LEGO® build at the Caurus Academy! Families will build the city of Anthem out of 40,000 LEGO® Bricks! Kids can construct the Adventure Playground, Daisy Mountain, their own home, school and favorite park all out of LEGO®. Students will explore hands on architecture through learning about overlapping and how buildings are so strong! All LEGO® materials will be provided by Play-Well.  For safety, all kids need to bring an adult.

Families will get the opportunity to build the city of Anthem as they see it, as well as answer these questions through play:

  • What is your favorite part of Anthem?
  • How would you design your own house?
  • How would you make Anthem even better than it is now?

This is a FREE event for kids ages 5+. Only kids need tickets

5 Years After Breaking A World Record For Charity, The Dreamcatcher Playground Is Complete

5 years ago, we collaborated the Rotary Dreamcatcher Playground Team, Conejo Recreation and Park DistrictRotary International to break a World Record for charity.  The goal was to bring awareness and raise funds for a state-of-the-art playground for special needs children.

That dream was recently fulfilled with the opening of the Rotary Dreamcatcher Playground.  We feel really lucky to be able to help at the beginning of this campaign.

If you’d like us to help out with your organization or charity, check out Special Events Page here.
