On Sunday, August 27th, 2017, Play-Well TEKnologies will be collaborating with the Central Library in Santa Barbara to build the city of Santa Barbara out of 40,000 LEGO® Bricks. The event is being held to honor the 100-year history of the Central Library Building in the City of Santa Barbara.
Families will get the opportunity to build the city of Santa Barbara as they would like to see it, as well as get the opportunity to answer these questions through play:
- If you had the chance to design the city of Santa Barbara, how would you design it?
- What else would you add to the city that you currently think is missing?
- How would you make Santa Barbara even better than it is now?
The best part is that the event is FREE to the public.
We’ll have two sessions, one at 1:30 pm and one at 3:30 pm.
